Hello and welcome to math class. My name is Erica O'Hara. I grew up in South Dakota. I went to college at the University of Minnesota (go gophers!). My first teaching job was on the Standing Rock Reservation in South Dakota. I taught 5th grade there for 3 years. I then moved to Austin, Texas where I taught 6th grade Math. After re-meeting up with my high-school sweetheart, I moved back to the Twin Cities. Ryan and I got married last year. It is great to be back in the Midwest (go Vikings!!) and be teaching at Edgewood. During my teaching time I finished my master's degree and am currently working on my doctorate degree.
